There are a LOT of folks prowling around. Some follow UPS/FEDEX trucks. Others scope the neighborhoods for a while. Daytime is the best time for these folks who like to break in. Most people work days. Not hard to figure out peoples schedules as we tend to be creatures of habit. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure which homes are unattended. I've spooked several groups and individual folks who were acting suspicious in our neighborhood. And night time the new fad seems to be electric carts (they are quiet). Glad I have PTSD, they never know if I'm on the roof, in a tree or wherever. Stay the hell outta Beulah...I am waiting!!! No, this was daytime. There are a LOT of folks prowling around. So brazen. Some days I sleep and some nights I sleep. Have something waiting for you if you enter my home. Now you figure out which days and which nights. There are single wireless alarms at Harbor Freight (Bunker Hill brand) for less than $30.00 They operate on batteries and they definitely work. Place the sensor in a window or like me one in a flower pot with fake flowers on the porch. We spray painted it green so its not visible. When someone arrives, the alarm inside alerts you and it's loud too. If you buy several, make sure each one is a different channel. It's on the box. We have 5 encircling our home. My neighbor keeps one in his boat. Someone messes around his boat, he gets the alarm. Small animals, lizards, moths will set it off. But you can go check it out, if it alarms.
