I am not on the staff Anne but what you heard is not true. Who ever told you that was uninformed. Glad you are questioning that though.

Northescambia, I appreciate you so much for the local news but the interactive comments are also priceless in getting differing points of view and information.Your articles are often a starting point for further research to get more facts.
@Anne
Although I seldom see public servants answering question and interacting here, I think it may be to remain professional and ethical, If you want to ask directly NE provided a link. I sometimes take what I learn here as a starting point.

I will mail in vote only. It is my vote and it counts. I think it is secure valid, can only be counted once, I am not rushed and research the candidates ahead of time. I will not stand at the polls nor mark one I am not sure of. This is serious and a meet and greet and rush job at the poll's will no longer be my way of voting.
Just the thought of someone showing up to get a sticker and be seen and not putting thought into it is worse than not voting at all. Its private and sacred to me.

Mr. Stafford and SOE Staff,
Thank you for your diligent efforts in making sure that all eligible voters have an opportunity to cast their votes.

For Escambia County, ow many 2016 Primary Ballots were mailed to our Military and Overseas voters?

Are ALL of the Vote-By-Mail ballots included in the final tallying of votes cast?
At one time I had heard that the Absentee or Mail-In Votes were used only when there was a Close Race and they'd then be counted to determine the winner. Is there any truth to that?

Thanks to the Supervisor of Elections Staff for a Great Job.
Thanks to our Nation's Founders for our Right to Vote for the best candidate.
God Bless the USA
