The reunion was a lot of fun. I enjoyed attending school there as a child and it was a ton of fun to walk the halls as an adult. I was especially happy to see one of my teachers there! My Grandmother attended the school when it first opened and my aunts, uncle, and dad attended there as well. Barrineau Park Elementary School will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I wasn’t a student there but my husband was, my grandchildren were also, so I just had a great visiting with everyone and had great food. If you didn’t come you miss great music and talking about old times. Plan on coming next year because they are going to do it again.

FOR OUR FIRST BARRINEAU PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REUNION,IT WAS A SMASHING SUCCESS!! OVER 100 PEOPLE SIGNED IN AND THE FOOD,FUN AND FELLOWSHIP WAS SUPER..SPECIAL THANKS GO TO CHRISY GREENFIELD WISE AND DON DIXON JR. WHO ORGANIZED AND PLANNED THE PARTY,BARRINEAU PARK COMMUNITY CENTER AND CRAIG EXNER WHO HOSTED THE ACTIVITY, THE SOUTHERN BAND REVIVAL WHO PROVIDED GREAT ENTERTAINMENT, AND FINALLY THE MANY GRATEFUL FORMER BPES STUDENTS WHO ATTENDED AND SHARED MANY FOND MEMORIES..LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE!!
