@No Excuses, I do suppose that one culture would prefer to vote once, where as another culture would prefer to vote multiple times.

I am glad that I was born into my culture. The one that only votes once.

Got my card in the mail last week.
I’ll be PLEASED to show the Voter ID and my Fla Concealed Weapon Permit for the photo ID part to sign on the line and get my ballot.
Lots of folks have been in office and living off us taxpayers for too long a time and need to just go back to the house and get reel jobs.
Your Voter ID card don’t do no good unless you VOTE one way or the other.
Thanks to Mr. Stafford for making it easy-peasy to cast my vote.
VOTE-VOTE-VOTE its your right to do that and your responsibility to.

I know, right? Showing ID only means that I have voted once and can’t vote again. The old days of stuffing the ballot boxes is “almost” gone. It’s not meant to restrict anyone from voting, etc. If you don’t drive and you want to vote, get a state issued ID card!

@No Excuses, there is supposed to be an element of racism associated with I.D. cards, though the dynamic is beyond me?

I am always happy to display mine, certifying that I am.

@Jim – it does seem contradictory, doesn’t it? I believe the purpose is to let voters know their district, polling place, etc. It is not a requirement to have the voter “ID” card when one votes – you need a picture ID with signature for that.

My card specifically states that it is not to be used as an ID.
