@ Aprilove…..That is a great idea!!! My brother was involved in a motorcycle accident & thankfully he didn’t have major injuries but lots of times people are in a hurry & at a glance just don’t see them….I love your idea:)

Thanking God it wasn’t worse… most people that don’t ride, won’t see motorcycles. Teachers your kids to count motorcycles instead of punch buggies!

Prayers & Blessings to this young man.Back in1971 I ran into a pick up truck@ about 35 mph The recovery time is 6–8 weeks min. I had broken sholder bone and other things. Thank God he had on skidlid. Hope for fast recovery.. I ll look for his GoFund Me….

Thank goodness this young man will recover from this accident. Please folks, watch out for motorcycles. Take that second or third look before turning into the path of on coming traffic, anywhere, anytime.

Just FYI, the motorcyclist is a Volunteer Captain at the Molino Fire Station (ECFR St. 18). A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist him and his family with bills and expenses while he will be out of work. He is pretty banged up, but as of this morning he seemed to be in good spirits all things considered. He will be sidelined for a while due to the seriousness of the injuries, but we can only hope for a speedy recovery. https://www.gofundme.com/2aw2sqhn

This is a big shame, it looks like a newer bike! Sorry for the person that was in the wreck. I pray for a fast recovery, and that you get your bike Back pretty soon! A lot of people think motorcycles are dangerous, although that may be true on some occasions, it is usually the people in normal vehicles that endanger motorcycles.
One thing that is ironic about some people that pull out in front of you, is that some of them have the check twice for motorcycles sticker on the back of their vehicle!
Also for the people that think motorcycles are scary because of things like this, the fact is this could happen to someone with 40 years experience on a motorcycle or someone with 1 year experience on a motorcycle.

Does anybody remember when they were little and they were trying to ride their bicycle for the first time without training wheels, and their parents say to them” now remember crashing or falling off your bike is part of riding a bike don’t be scared of it! if you fall off just pick it up and try agian!

Now I’m not saying that a motorcycle is the same as a bicycle, what I’m saying is that just because you wrecked one bike doesn’t mean you can’t get another and try again! Don’t be scared to ride again it can happen to the best of us.

Wishes for a fast recovery to the rider, that was a nice Ninja brother! Hopefully the truck driver has good insurance for a speedy replacement down at John Kiley’s. Always be on guard for people pulling in front of you!
