I too want to thank you for “straightening” some of these people out. Some of their comments were just down right mean and rude! Everytime an accident is listed here-they jump on the “using their cell phone” band wagon. It irritates me! Not everyone is texting on their phone while driving. Accidents do happen for other reasons.

And how exactly is the topic of young drivers relevant? I’m 19 years old my mother is 39.. Save the response I don’t even wanna know. I hope you people can find yourselves to be more sensitive to these articles because some families do keep an eye on the comments and we do not appreciate the assumptions. If it was your entire world laying in bed with a fracture going around their entire skull you would feel the same way. She didn’t bring this on herself nor did she deserve it.

I’m making this post sitting next to my mother in the ICU with enough bandages around her head it looks like a turban. You DO NOT KNOW what happened. You read the article and you made your assumptions. It’s a single vehicle accident so it’s the driver’s fault? Wreckless driving? Were you there?
Nope. Keyboard warriors trying to play politics on a sectioned county news website ditch this post for you know nothing.
Much love and appreciation towards those who did not make unfriendly statements and are praying for us.

The driver behind my mother saw the entire thing and I would say she can vouch this was not an incident of poor driving and to the fellow who said “right where the speed limit drops” shows how much you know buddy that’s right where the speed limit picks up. Please get off this post if you’ve got nothing good to say cause you don’t know your tea from your coffee in this situation. Thanks and God bless.

Kiona Beavers….Thank you for letting all of us know what happened. Yes people are fast to judge and most like to think they know or act like they know what happened. Glad you and your baby are ok and will be praying for your mother in law.

I was one of the people involved in this accident. My daughter was the toddler involved, my mother in law is the one in serious condition. Just so all of you rude people, who THINK you know what happened, She wasn’t texting, or not paying attention, we ran something over or blew a tire and it pulled our car to the right, and my mother in law over corrected, at 65 miles per hour, WHICH IS THE SPEED LIMIT WHERE WE CRASHED. and when we went to the ditch, we flipped. She is, and always has been a safe driver, this wasn’t the drivers fault. All of you need to stop and think about what could have happened in situations like this instead of automatically putting it on the person behind the wheel. My mother in law is still needing prayers and she is still in the ICU. Stop being so quick to judge people in situations like these. Thank you all for your prayers, as they are much needed in this tough time for my family.

It wasn’t poor judgement, or speeding, or even texting…it was a complete and total freak accident. Prayers are still needed and appreciated for the driver as her condition is still serious.

I grew up in Molino, moved away, then moved back. I’m telling you, drivers in this area are AWFUL. Germany, France, Italy, heck even in Mexico…they were better. Folks don’t pay attention to the road and that’s what gets them in trouble. The speed isn’t even as big of a deal, because we have such low speed limits here compared to the rest of the world. If folks would drive better, the speed wouldn’t be as much of a problem. Bad drivers = need to drive slow. It’s my personal opinion that it’s too easy to get a license (and lose it), in the states. We need better education, better training, and more knowledge to fix this problem.

I deliver for fedex and must’ve missed it thank god. People especially near neal road drive really ridiculous and have seen several bad ones near neal road. Im guessing speed like most due right about there due to speed increase.
