My dr can ask all he wants and I’ll simple say I have no guns. My health is his concern not my gun ownership. Another government over reach.

Just ask the doctor if his personal wealth or his malpractice insurance will cover the damages should anyone be harmed or killed by following his advice on handling and storing firearms.
That should shut him or her up.

It’s none of my physicians’ business if I have guns or not, however, I can certainly understand them being mentioned in a conversation about keeping my home safe for younger children, along with swimming pools and the like.

We have weapons in our home, and we also have adult children who grew up with them around and knew not to bother them unless they were directed to do so. They were also trained and taught how to handle them. The weapons were and are also properly secured.

That being said, I simply will tell any doctor who asks, “No”.

Why are you against this? Do you not say guns don’t kill it is the people and why not allow a doctor to ask his patient this question. It might not stop a lot of shootings but just one like in Colorado might be something to think about. As to freedoms and rights, are we not stepping into the doctor’s office between doctor and patient? Although we do that now with woman all the time and that is wrong too.

In the last few years we’ve gone from viewing guns as a tool and having some regulation (even the NRA once supported some regulation- not the conspiracy minded nut job leading it now) to not wanting any regulation; none. Lets turn our society into shoot out after shoot out. We criticize the radicals in the Middle East for holding up the Koran and a gun while we hold up a Bible and a gun. Not much difference in attitude, it is just lucky we had the Enlightenment to weed out the more violent aspects of our religions.

Next is where do you keep your car keys, where do you keep your lawn chemicals, where do you clean keep your cleaning supplies, are they locked up. Do you own a lawn mower and best is do you have any knives in your kitchen?
