Keep up the good work. If the sign says 35, that is what it means. If the sign says stop, that is what it means. The laws are put in place to keep us and others safe.
The number of tickets is just a tip of the iceberg of the cars that speed thru Century. People keep speeding even when you are working the area. Too many speeders and not enough deputies. Keep it up and we appreciate you.
OBEY THE LAW and you want get a ticket.

If you didn’t do any thing wrong go to traffic court and fight for the fact you were wronged. You have that option and don’t cry I don’t have the time. If I were given a ticket that I felt was wrong I would fight it.

The Deputies of Century must be trying to compete with Gulf Breeze in giving out tickets. Escambia vs. Santa Rosa. Two areas that you don’t speed. Just a short drive through both of these cities. Be patient and drive the speed limit. What’s so hard about that???

Yes we know, without truckers, nothing would be delivered.

On the other side of the coin, truckers are on the clock, the rest of us have places to be too, but most aren’t being paid to drive so please move over or stay in the “right” lane in the first place.

If you are a local then you probably already know that you do not speed in Century. And In all honesty there probably isn’t any other way for the town to make money.

If sheriff Morgan is reading this, you need to write even more tickets, have your deputies burn up some ink pens all over the county. I would like to see more folks on this forum crying, because the only way you get through to some is getting some of their money. Florida also needs to do away with NO FAULT that will help get some bad drivers off roads, and don’t subsidized some folks auto insurance this is also bad.

Deputies – Speeding along Hwy 297A to Pine Forest Road a great place to be. Also, drivers running stop sign at Hwy 97 and Hwy 297A. See at least 2-3 cars run it when I’m driving on Hwy 297A. Also, drivers are continuing to run the new red light at Pine Cone Lane and Hwy 297A. 4 way stop at Kingsfield Road and Hwy 297A, they don’t always stop. Potential tickets are all along this route.

Speed limits are not a suggestion to how fast you can drive, it is the law. All too often drivers ignore these signs and drive like they want. Find it odd that driving the speed limit usually means the driver behind you is trying to climb in your trunk… Drive the posted limit folks and we will all get there safely..
