This was my grandmother & little sister involved in the accident. Thank God they are okay. Makes me sick to my stomach that someone could just leave the scene of an accident like that. From the comments it sounds like this guy needs to straighten his life out.. I pray he does. 25 years old is old enough to know better than what he did but also to young to waste the rest of your life on nonsense.

Colby Myrick, you have been a bad boy for years now. It’s not so hard to be good and follow the straight road. It takes more effort to lead a life down a rocky road. Don’t you get it? Come out of hiding and get down to the Escambia Sheriff’s Office and turn yourself in. Things are going to be a lot worse the longer this drags out looking for you. Be a man and do it !

I THOUGHT ABOUT EXPOUNDING MY 2 CENTS WORTH ON THIS CASE BUT DECLINED because he is a poor excuse for a human being for what he has been doing for years instead of working as he knows he can in association with some minor children for a while and now this. This is sure to send him off for many years to come by removing one idiot making the area a little safer for the duration. JUSTUSFORALL GETERDONE.

Thank God for people who still want to get involved. My granddaughter was in that car in the back seat on the passengers side. if he had hit 12″ further back it would have been a lot worse. As it is we are all grateful that she and her other grandmother as OK despite many bruises. I have to pray that this young man will get the help he needs to turn his life around now.

It is a shame. Colby Myrick people have been there for you and you have always shut them out for your fast life style. I hope and pray this will straighten you out, you are running out of lives. Maybe a hard sentence will get you straightened out and maybe you can take it to a new level when you get out. You are way better than what you have been doing and how you have been acting. Wow, 25 is old enough to know better! Mr. Myrick, you are in big trouble. Thank goodness everybody involved is okay, this could’ve went much worse. It just goes to show you, when you run from your problems they get bigger. That old saying, “the truth will set you free” has bearing here. If you had just stopped & dealt with the accident, things would’ve went better for you. Too bad, having a driver’s license & the mobility it represents is essential nowadays.
