A CNG truck should have a diamond shaped blue reflective decal on it thst reads CNG . These are located on all four sides including the front bumper. Dont see this decal in any of the photos.

REGARDING:
"Often wonder if CNG trucks will blow up if there is a fire….."

A pressure release valve releases the natural gas before that happens.
I have seen a film showing the tanks set in a bonfire, the gas is gone too quickly to ignite.

Compressed natural gas is much safer than gasoline, diesel or propane.

Wow, this coulda went way worse! Glad the driver got out okay. Very curious to hear what the Fire Marshall's investigation reveals.

A hydraulic or fuel leak? Or something in the waste containment area? 2 different colors of smoke, an oily black, & a more chemical-looking lighter grayish smoke. Sometimes, like when a fuel line is broken, the fire can burn away whatever caused it, making a determination of cause difficult.
