Sad, but those minutes could've mattered to Mrs. Nowling. People are in such a rush nowdays. Not just on the roads, but even places like the grocery store. Slow the heck down and appreciate life. Maybe the wake up call was the wreck. However, from the looks of both vehicles it appears the van was headed south on 29 and the responding vehicle was trying to cross 29 from east to west on Molino rd. a very dangerous/busy intersection that begs complete attention at all times. Maybe in the future it would be best to turn right ( north ) on 29 then do a 180 asap & go back south. Takes a little longer ( 1 or 2 mins )? I look and see nothing and then look again around the window supports - it is amazing what those little or not so little supports can block out. Just take time to double check by moving your view around any physical obstruction in your vehicle. No idea what actually happened here but I do know what has almost happened to me. The elderly gentleman driving was also in good shape with only some scrapes to left arm . We had a lot of good help on scene until other first responders arrived. Also the fireman who was in the truck that was involved in the wreck was able to assist with no injuries. It saddens me that the young lady he was responding to in the wreck a few miles east of us passed. Prayers to her and her family.when God calls home his angels , it's beyond our control.
