Charlie, most pharmacies do have a safe. There are so many controlled drugs that it isn’t feasible to secure all of them every night. Valium, Adderal, Xanax, Hydrocodone, such drugs are kept on the shelves. These guys are going for quantity and taking drugs that are marketable.

I’m just glad they are doing this at night so that nobody is in danger.

In my previous comment, I was talking about the usually stolen narcotic ones. You would need a really huge safe to store all drugs in, from a well stocked pharmacy. Lock up at least the narcotic ones. It should be mandatory.

Why do these pharmacies not have a storage safe as common practice, as jewelry stores do. Jewelry stores manage to put away an awful lot of valuables in a very short time at closing, because they use trays, so why can’t these drug stores do the same. Just use indexed removable trays for each kind of drug on store shelves, & tray racks in a large enough safe to hold them. The trays can be easily taken off the shelves & put in a safe. Too simple? Even during daylight/open hours, only a required amount of narcotic drugs that is on average called for, should be on the shelves & not in a safe. Most daylight robberies are done as quickly as possible, with a thief not wanting to wait for a safe to be opened.

It doesn’t take a pit bull to do the trick robin hood, it could be a mixed breed, just train them to wait until they come behind the counter before they attack.

these guys are good their M O sounds like a military operation to do it this fast they must have a good understanding of the pharmacy sooner or later they will get caught or killed

Oh come on Mick, Their family members will tell you that they are Good, Loving kids who do not hurt people, etc., etc.

If I was a pharmacist I would get me a pit bull and put them in the store SO when they did enter they would not leave without having to go to hospital and then they would get caught once police were called.
