However, I am appalled by the comments from @TATE AGGIE and @Bama Boy!! You sound like a sore losers to me. My son plays for Northview and I am very proud of that fact. Yes, it is a far cry from the program that Tate has but that gives you no right to try and diminish a victory that our boys worked very hard to achieve. Matter of fact they have gone on to win every game since the Tate JV defeated them in their season opener February 17th.

Besides, how many schools In Escambia County actually have a ninth grade, JV and Varsity team?? Most schools have a JV team and a Varsity team. In most cases your ninth grade team will be playing a JV team. Little league puts kids together in groups of different ages (i.e. 9 & 10 year olds, 11 & 12 year olds, 13 & 14 year olds). Have you forgotten that? Or are you one of those parents that did not allow their child to play rec ball? It was just easier for you to pay a couple grand and put him on a team of your choice?

I wish to take nothing away from the baseball program at Tate. It is dear to my heart and I have many friends that teach, coach and have children that play there. But come on, man up and accept a loss for what it is. I promise you the boys were told to man up!! There is not a coach out there that would look at their team after a loss and say, “Well that’s okay boys, most of them were a year older than you.”

The biggest problem in sports these days are the parents!! I totally believe that!!
