These men do what the laws allow. So instead of going after them, go after your legislators and tell them to change the laws. Sure, we'd like to see everyone who takes the life of another - whether it be with malice or by negligence - go to jail forever or face the death penalty, but if the law does not allow it, then it will never be. And even then, I can assure you that the SCOTUS will not let it stand. But contact your legislators and tell them how you feel, anyway. Our Judges and DAs pretty much have their hands tied. This criminal will be on the streets again in probably less than 3yrs, kill again, and get even a lesser sentence!!! The jails and prisons already overcrowded, if the family don't push the system to do what's right, then the justice system could care less and as you see here, that's exactly what happened!!!!! To allow someone to plea down a murder charge should be a crime in itself. ANY judge that would allow this should lose his seat and the attorneys should be suspended. I can understand some cases being pled down but MURDER? This guy laughed all the way to the pen knowing he'll be a free man shortly. you have GOT to be kidding me!
