Prays for the families; People do not know what a speed limit sign is any more. Plus they think they must tail gate the car in front of them.

Those of us who live in this are are well aware that no common sense was used when planning the flow of traffic on Pine Forest Road. The county continues to permit new neighborhoods in northwest Cantonment, but they give no thought for how those people (who must go to work to pay for their new homes) are going to get home. Fine, Pine Forest has two southbound lanes getting to the interstate to go to work; but plan on a 15-minute traffic jam from the interstate to 9 Mile Road on your way home.

Have you ever headed north on Pine Forest from the light at 297 only to be stopped again by the Dollar General customer who instantly decides he needs to turn left from the only northbound lane (and, I might add, usually without a turn signal)?

My heart goes out to those who were injured yesterday. I could hear the sirens from my house and knew something awful had happened. However, I do hope that someone who is SOMEONE will read this and give some thought to making some common sense changes on Pine Forest. The road is wide enough for four lanes! A properly designed road will help cut down on accidents.

people need to slow down and pay attention through there. Seems like that spot is getting worse for accidents and have seen some pretty bad stuff there at least once a month. That whole area is just going to get worse when they start to widen 9-Mile too.
