Sorry about the impression of being a jerk. You did not indicate you were new to the area or in anyway unfamiliar to it.
I apologize, however it irks me to no end the yuppies from the suburbs who move here to be in the country yet bring their yuppie ways, racecar driving, force their views of change and progress on those of us who’ve been here all along and want things to stay for our children the way it was for us. All the johnnycomelatelies who act as if you know these woods and rivers better than a Molino Boy, talking to you.

Interesting that when the bridge at Three Run on Pineville Road was replaced, a temporary bridge was constructed first so that the four households that might potentially be inconvenienced could use it during construction. Someone failed to notice that an alternate route for those four households was available by making a short detour. The bridge on Molino Road is used by many more folks and would certainly benefit from a temporary bridge. The same was done when the bridge on 97A was replaced. I don’t live on nor do I use Molino Road so there’s nothing to “suck up” just wondering why a temporary isn’t being built!

Not only will this affect school buses, postal services, but what about emergency vehicles? Ambulances, fire trucks, and the sheriffs office will have to take another route. Molino Road is a vital road, this will impact a lot of people, glad the project is being done but 6 months is a lot of time!

What about residents trying to receive their packages.??? .as a fedex driver that just so happens to run that route. .this is going to be tough….whether it’s myself or our fellow delivery companies…we have families to get home to…the detours we’ll have to take will hit us hard time wise…not cool.
