Congratulations Soldier:

Your story takes me back many years. I graduated from High School on Friday night June 3, 1960, and, with three of my Classmates, all National Guard, reported to Ft. Jackson on Sunday, June 5. No after high school vacation here.

I received an Associates Degree after my six months training, stayed in the Guard 28 years, with the good benefits. Retired from two civilian jobs with real good benefits, after 50 years.

Bottom line, the military training, all by WWII and Korean War Veteran Drill Instructors set me on a straight path and had a lot to do with any success in my later years.

Any young person who is interested in this type career, would be well served by inquiring into any reserve or active duty branch of the U.S. Military.

Pvt. Frye, Congratulations on your completion of Boot Camp.
That experience is life changing and provides many challenges in which you have learned to adapt and overcome.
Thanks to You and to All Others who Serve this United States of America.
May you be safe and achieve many great things.
Army Strong.
