This has been in the works a long time but permits and license requirements for river work were delayed until just before the last big rain. If all goes well, this licensed and permitted company will begin pulling this jam out of the river this week. www.riverloggers.com . Still keep a chainsaw on the boat when riding Perdido to clear a path for tubers & canoers. They have been there for several months, even before Thanksgiving. 40 ft logs are pinned against the bridge, without the ability to break free.
