I agree with the last two post, this is just more corporate welfare. If the state has a surplus of money how about some relief for the taxpayers. reduce or
eliminate property tax , reduce sales tax, vehicle tags and registration. Santa Rosa county commissioners just doubled the gas tax Jan 1 , 6 to 12 cents a gallon. Vote them out, I pray this next election is historic Wake Up
Welcome to Gov Rick Scott's world. He would rather veto all funding for disabled children and spend our taxpayer dollars to settle lawsuits against him for violating Florida Sunshine laws for open government to the tune of 1.3 Million dollars. Approves 2 Million dollars for a sea wall around a golf course in south Florida. This is the same Gov. that tried to put severely disabled children into Senior nursing homes by cutting funding for in home care . Thankfully the courts stepped in and stopped it.
Such a disgrace.

Citizens of Florida-ZIP-corporations BILLIONS. You go Scott make yourself money after you leave the Governorship. And you folks worry about hand-outs to the poor, pennies on the billion dollars given to corporations.

Gee, if there is a surplus, maybe the money should be returned to the taxpayers. I know, how about eliminating property tax on primary residences. Maybe eliminating property taxes on primary residences of elderly/retirees.
