These thugs know there won’t be good guys with guns at the public schools to stop them because of the extremely harsh federal gun free school zone laws on the books that stop a law abiding citizen from being armed there. Thank God they didn’t shoot up some classroom!!!

Is it a wonder that where the gun restrictions are, crime is the highest

Parents should’ve been notified last night on their automatic phone calls they send out to at least let them know instead of hearing it on the morning news I am keeping my child home today because she goes to that school . And I would like to know which side of the building the school bus saw them on and what restaurant

My son goes there and we did get an automated phone call last night telling us about it and if you had any concern or questions to please call Dr Roberts the principal.. it was him.. this happen on the south side of the school near the bus’s and McDonalds was the restaurant..

A phone call should have went out to parents if there was a need for concern. My daughter said they have been in “lock down” all day today at school.

Evidently you either don’t have no children or you don’t care for their safety my grand child safety is my first priority if she said she was scared to go to school today then so be it she stays home her safety comes first you need to think about what’s going on all over the United States of school shootings and the teachers and the students that have died , also I sit in that parking lot every day five days a week waiting for her to come out the news did not report that I suspect entered the building only the restaurant I knew what restaurant it was but the news didn’t report it also does happen to be on the side of the building where all the special needs kids are , this should’ve been reported to the parents by the afternoon when I got home so I would keep up with the news and the school when is it happens like this ,

if you’ve ever been to the school you’d see that the McDonalds is the only “restaurant” close to the school so it’s pretty easy to figure out. Also the bus ramp is right there as well so common sense would tell you that’s where the incident occurred. Keeping your kid home today? Wow, good thing she doesn’t go to a “rough” school. No notification? Gee, what happened “way back when” they didn’t have this system? Gosh, how did the world survive?

When there is a lockdown at schools why are daycare within a radius notified? The center I work at is in walking distance to the incident. Is it only children in school that are allowed the lockdown? A simple, outside time is not safe at the moment would be sufficient. I am glad this story is about fleeing and not a rampage of bullets flying. I understand keeping the public from a panic state although public safety is key also. If I have a building full of children close by there should be a lockdown. If our staff go to pick up the kids and the school is on lockdown,
Should we not be warned of what they may be driving into?
