People please yield and open your eyes there are bikes with kids on back of them riding with parents also. Please respect motorcycles and mopeds.They have to share road. God Bless both people involved.

Install a no-left-turn sign at Johnson Ave and 29. Westbound Johnson Ave traffic should not be permitted to continue across 29 to go south. Many of those drivers want to cut across 3 lanes to continue westbound on Detroit. Those drivers just need to use the traffic light at Detroit and 29. Not saying that is what caused this accident, but this would help with the flow of traffic at morning rush hour!

Looks like the motorcycle was rear-ended!

I agree BENTSTRAIGHT, looks like wet roads and two wheels are not the problem. My wife and were rear ended one night on our bike. We had two wheels and it had been raining but that wasn’t the problem then, either. The “innocent driver” who hit us still had his cell phone in his hand when he drove around us in an attempt to leave the scene! Luckily, witnesses stopped him.

Also luckily, I was too injured to physically express my opinion of his driving ability!

That area is such a bad location anyway. Always “close calls” there. I wonder if the SUV driver was texting or otherwise distracted. The size of that bike isn’t exactly little and hard to miss. Just wondering…….

Bikes, in almost all cases, are not the issue – it is the carelessness behind the wheel of a vehicle (My Opinion) I rode for many years and if it were not for {Us} paying attention, many, many more bike related accidents would happen.

Hope rider isn’t in hurt to bad.
Wet roads and bikes are a bad combination.
