As I'm sure you are aware of, half the prisons are full of self proclaimed innocent people. The courts find them guilty but they were framed, falsely accused, lied on,etc. They were sent to jail simply because they could be. I'm not sure when it became the acceptable thing not to take responsibility for your actions. Growing up, back in the stone age as my children would have it, we had fewer crimes and if you committed a crime you didn't see the family in the news saying what a great person the killer was or "free tae tae." I hope the judge that hears this and other criminal cases here is Escambia will be very strict and tough on crime. The lawlessness and lack of stopping and solving crimes is unacceptable. We need to be a people who are fierce and forceful to do what is right from concerned citizens, to juries to law enforcement to judges. No more, no excuses. Judge Terrell put in his notice to retire. He just needs one more chance to get straightened out.
