I hate the situation that has transpired, however i’ve known this guy for about 10 years. He was a loving father and he loved his children always had them. Never missed play time or just being a father. However he got on drugs, it does not excuse his behavior but drugs altered his thinking. No excuse for what he has done but drug use put him on this course. This lets me know a very up standing person can fail and i’m praying God restore him. I’m also praying his daughter recover, and has no memory of this horrible event. Trust me i’m not taking his side, but i do know he was a wonderful father before years of drug abuse consumed him.

The punishment does not fit the crime. If the child died, then the man should die too. Many of our prison inmates should have died long ago.
We are too afraid to render a “life for a life”.
There is not enough concern for the victims and their families.
If we dealt with criminals as the Bible teaches people would think twice before
they commit murder. Yes, God forgives, but He does not wink at sin.
‘What ye sow shall ye also reap.”

I hate it for him if they put him in general population. That will be a long, long twenty years.
