He had David Ackerman (former judge) as his Defense attorney... and Judge Terrell Jones presiding over the case (former defense Attorney who is known for being partial to the defendant) ... I would say some good luck and a good lawyer got this man off...

I didn't say he'd get it, just said he could. I would. He's got about as much proof for malicious prosecution as some prosecutors have against defendants.

Sorry, Chris. You're wrong. The state doesn't reimburse defendants found "not guilty". The only way to recoup his expenses would be to sue the state for malicious prosecution. For that, you would have to prove the state had some hidden agenda against the defendant rather than acting on the evidence.

REGARDING:
"To Johnny: Now you can go after the state to reclaim any bond money, lawyer fees, etc because it wasn’t nolle process, it was not guilty."

Bond money is always returned if they show up at the end, guilty or not guilty.
That's why bondsmen like putting up bond for ten percent of the amount. That isn't the government but individuals, that money ain't coming back.

Lawyer fees, don't get your hopes up. You'd have to prove the charges were unjustified. If that were true, the judge would have thrown it out to begin with.

Remember Orenthal James Simpson was able to beat a murder rap with his footprints in the blood because he hired very good lawyers (and the prosecution worried more about appearance than irrefutable physical evidence). He spent so much money beating the charge that he couldn't afford enough legal representation to beat the civil suit with the same evidence or later charges for armed robbery and kidnapping, he was found guilty and sentenced to 33 years. Maybe if he still had the money his murder trials cost him, he could've beat the later, lesser charges.

Not saying this dear child shot the three people who were shot while he was in the car. Maybe his friend did it. Maybe they shot themselves. Me not know.

It's amazing to me that NOBODY has commented about his acquittal by a jury, yet were so eager to dog him when he was arrested. So I say to.....
Haley & Hannah-- Good thing you two aren't part of the judicial system, he'd be locked up for a long time.
Dreign--- You'd have put to death by lethal injection an innocent man.
Wally-- I'd imagine his smile has lasted quite a while, wouldn't you ?
Then there are those who are probably mad he was found not guilty, that he somehow skated by and since he's done other stuff in the past, should go to jail anyway. Even more will hate and cross their legs on him saying he'll go back for something. But this is the system we have and he is not guilty and should respect that as much as if he were found guilty. You should be applauding.
