Sorry, this article neither mentions ammo nor a loaded pistol. The magazine appears empty to me. Law enforcement officers I know never leave ammo in a magazine with a weapon when it is put into evidence; ammo is always accounted for. Either y’all are assuming or this is bad reporting.

Don, have to agree with you on that name part. jeez, is it just a made up one?

Oversight, i believe when an officer takes possession of a weapon on scene, they normally empty it immediately.

All that being said, did this moron not consider if you are going to carry a weapon (which the probability of it being stolen are high) and drugs, you shouldn’t be speeding down the highway? Oh wait, this is the a criminal, he has no brains.
