Texas appears to be moving towards surface water as their wells apparently have been shown to allow subsidence ( sinking ) of the land as well as a drying up of the wells and aquifers . Surface water ( lakes & rivers ) etc. could provide a lot of water for Florida not to mention de-salination of salt water which we have an abundance of. With over 20 million people in Florida and growing , we are only 7 million behind Texas but with a much smaller land area. We obviously can't survive without good clean water so we need to begin now to address the issue. Course we could ask maybe 5/10 million people to move .
