I have no illusions at all. The U.S. is definately not a christian nation (anymore) thanks to the government. I don't believe anyone should be persecuted for their religious beliefs. However, while i feel heathens have the right to go to hell if they so choose, the majority of people are christian. This country was founded, built by, and flourished under christian men and women with the help of our God (the only God) and his son Jesus. Therefore, it should be the only religious display. It's about the birth of the Son, not the devil, not budda, not some big black rock, or any of that. Most people didn't know what a muslim was until September 11. Its people like you who have perverted and destroyed what MY forefathers built here that with the help of the government in all it's wisdom. It amazes me how far we have gotten form those times and beliefs. It is kinda like President Obama stating, "The Charlie Brown Christmas Special is about a little tree". You people need to study history. Christmas is all about the birth of Christ. If you are so far from from His teachings, why do you even celebrate it? Christmas is a holiday for those who believe and worship Jesus Christ as the son of God. How sad that our country has catapulted into a modern version of Sodom and Gomorrah, where we cannot even mention Jesus without also mentioning or recognizing satan, Santa and advocates of sodomy.
