Well LOCAL RESIDENT….as a mother of one of the victims ,80 yrs for a gun to my sons head is not long enough. Just glad that he won’t have the chance to hurt someone else’s children. As for the driver of the car…karma will get you. Thanks Judge Goodman for a job well done.

One thing for certain, this thug won’t rob anyone else in the FREE world. Since he’s already been in the ‘big house’, it’s assumed that (1) he didn’t learn from the experience or (2) simply does’t care. He made his bed, let him lay in it. Forever!!

He was more than likely sentenced as a habitual offender and that’s why he received 80 years. I know for sure he’s been in & out of prison a few times already.

80 years…really??? This is essentially a life sentence. There must be more history here for such a harsh sentence. Crime must be punished but this seems excessive. Heck, the child predator from Subway only got 15 years.

Wondering what this guy’s lifestyle will cost us Taxpayers over the 80 years.
Agree 100% that he, and Many Others, need to be removed from “society”
It just seems there should be some other type of punishment like put them on an island in the middle of the Pacific to fend for themselves with no cost to Taxpayers.
Thugs like this don’t deserve for us to have to take care of them.

Just because people break the law, do bad things or perhaps do things they shouldn’t. Doesn’t mean they should rot away in jail for the rest of their lives. Open mind and open hearts people. I’m not defending this gentleman at all and he should pay for what he did……but do you think that 80 years in prison will better him..or us????? God bless

This is what the law abiding community needs to see more of – putting these predators in prison long enough so that when they possibly survive the incarceration, when released, they will be barely able to walk. 1 down, and scores of scumbags to go…Thanks Judge Goodman.
