So you think we should curb our free speech to comment on an open forum because somebody might allow their child or grandchildren to read it. Sounds like boundaries should be set at home instead of ranting how we should feel bad for saying what we think about an article. While you’re at it why don’t you try to see if maybe you can get the media not to report on it either. That way a child can’t read it on the net or see it on tv. Your comment is ludicrous and your spelling is atrocious.

Unbelievable. You people are the problem. Sympathy for the devil. If I’m licensed to Carry. most likely a gun lover. Maybe he/she was careless. That gives an idiot the right to enter your vehicle and steal? Sorry sell that bs someplace else. Exactly what’s wrong with this country. I’d rather hear he was shot. Worthless. Now we tax payers pay for his incarceration. Some lives don’t matter.

I’m really surprised no one has mentioned the obvious…..LOCK YOUR CARS! Look at the items stolen/recovered – Wallet, designer hand bag, FIREARMS. Yeah I’m blaming the victim! THREE FIREARMS PLUS AMMO FROM ONE OWNER?! In my opinion this is criminal to give access to weapons like this. What do you think happens to these weapons? When you read about shootings in our area, just say thank you to the folks supplying the weapons, leaving them in unlocked cars.

REGARDING:

The only way to be certain you won’t be robbed is to have nothing.
A person who will steal will kill. (He’s already stealing the part of your life you spent earning the money to pay for what he’s stealing.)

This proves the owner needed the gun but that it still wasn’t sufficient. More vigilance was needed to deal with this particular thief. (Assuming he stole and wasn’t framed and falsely accused.)

Good grief people ..lock down really.being notified. There is people roaming all the time around cars. There is always volunterrs there. And being sent out to someone elses car to grab items. Etc. Every parent that walks is a potential stranger..
