Politics was never meant to be a lifetime career. Put in your term(s) of service and go out and get a real job like the rest of us...no padded lifetime benefits...medical, retirement, or any other perk. When real money comes out of their own checks, when the kickbacks bribes and political favors end, maybe they'll feel pain that they put us real citizens through when they raid our pockets with the threat of violence if we resist. c.w. is Exactly right.
