@My Two Cents—Nearly the whole story gives the reason why the funds were re-allocated. It states that the original intended project had enough to cover only half of the cost of over 2 million, & no source of funding to cover the remaining over 1 million shortage. The project was switched to one that matched the funds available.

I travel Muscogee road every day and trying to dodge all of the pot holes pulling a work trailer is a chore. This road is way over due for repair. With all of the log trucks and tractor trailer rigs traveling this road daily it has taking a beating over the years. Will be glad to finally see this project move forward.

Thank God!! Muscogee Rd, starting at highway 29 is in horrible shape. Thankfully, I have good false teeth adhesive, otherwise, my teeth would tall out. LOL. Not to mention, sometimes I feel like my transmission is going to fall out.

If anyone has driven on Muscogee
lately they can’t help but notice the
amount of truck traffic.
Maybe Escambia road dept got this

IT WOUID BE NICE TO SEE ROADS LIKE HWY 4, HWY I64 HWY 99 AND SOME MOREIN THE NORTHEND GET WIDENING WEAR A SCHOOL BUS AND A TRUCK CAN”T PASS, MEYBE WHEN SOMEONE GET HURT REAL BAD IT WILL BE DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Muscogee Rd IS in North Escambia. Although I guess there is no “official” line drawn, most consider everything North of Nine Mile Road to be “North Escambia.” It is, not, however, “mid-North end” as “No Excuses” wrote. I AM curious, however, as to why they re-allocated the money.

Muscogee Road is NOT in the south end of the county. It’s mid-North end if anything.
