I don't accept credit or debit card because I've been unwilling to forfiet 3% of my sale to someone who had nothing to do with building my business. With this decision, I may reconsider. The gas stations and others wanted this ruling so they could have two prices. The use of the credit card does cost the seller, while helping the person buying. Now if you make a " purchase" read the contract very carefully. There were several new stations that opened in this area and were trying to charge two prices-- they had to back off until now. There was a federal case at one time that found if the bussiness accepted credit cards they could not charge extra. I guess now if you are an over the road driver you best carry a large amount of cash or have a good debit card. Poor decision on the part of the court.
