All volunteer firefighters in the state of Florida have to go through over 206 hours of hard and physically demanding training, just for the privledge of fighting fire. this is only the initial or basic class.That does not include ongoing training in which most departments require about 20 hours a month.
I you think that is somewhat easy, please come volunteer we could use the help

Trained. .I don’t believe I told you how to do your job or even insinuated that I knew how to do your job. I simply asked you where you got your info.

I do agree that there are bad apples in every profession and nobody wants to claim stupid when they go rogue.

As far as the visual I get that but again it has to be confirmed with a radar gun. You as a leo can not just pull someone over without the proper documentation(radar read out). I’ve also seen leo’s sitting on 110 and I10 with a radar gun sitting out their windows as I and hundreds of others cars have passed by them. Surely he didn’t think all of us was speeding.

Again I apologize if you thought I was telling you how to do your job and I also realize unless you are trained to do my job you definitely couldn’t do mine. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a leo performing a simple task as cpr as I rolled up on a call.

Coseys ex… You are right, the article did not state that they “were” firefighters. Although it is somewhat easy to become a volunteer firefighter. And it’s quite easy to get firefighter, paramedic, and emt insignia. Whereas leo items usually require validated credentials. There are bad apples in EVERY bunch.

But I don’t tell you how to get your job done, so don’t tell me how to do mine.

And yes, once certified as a radar operator you are required to visually estimate the speed and then confirm it with the radar within 3mph. So human radar gun is not out side the realm of possibility. STAT!

I don’t profess to know everything but last I heard there was no such thing as a human radar gun. These losers just pulled over random drivers because they’re idiots. “They’d be pulled over again to get their citation? When has that ever happened? What a joke and a big red flag

Hey trained..I haven’t heard anywhere in any of the news reports that said they were firefighters. Where’d you come up with that? Just curious. If they were impersonating L.E what makes anybody think they wouldn’t impersonate ems or fire? You can get stickers(on the back window of his truck) like that anywhere. As a paramedic I’ve purchased a few.
