There are too many gun laws as it is, and most are not being enforced properly (see Fast and Furious compliments of Eric Holder and the BATFE). We will not comply with any further infringement on the 2nd Amendment. The Bill of rights do not grant us those rights, it LIMITS the ability of government to usurp or pervert those rights. That being said, it's the anti-2nd Amendment supporters' move. How much risk are they willing to take? There is no gun debate.
