The old Century door plant seems would be a perfect place for a huge Recycling Plant. With its size it could employ many people. Century could try for Government funding. More business is needed to bring the tiny town back. Thanks to the hard work of the Mayor and its council members some changes are being made. Only wish more could be done to help Century thrive.

ECUA, we have lots of laborers in the county jail system. How about the county loaning out the nonviolent ones to pay thier debt to society. JUST A CIVILIAN THOUGHT.

Jane – just so you are aware, ECUA has the Santa Rosa contract for waste/recycling as well. You can carry it over there, but it all goes to the same place!

Really Jane? ECUA cannot control what is happening up in Montomery! I believe in recycling too and if you have the time to run to santa rosa then good for you! For 3-4 months they’ll do what they HAVE to do. It’s not like they aren’t trying to recycle our recyclables!

Taking the recycle material to the landfill???? BAD IDEA! I am so disappointed in ECUA right now. My recycle stuff can go over to the containers in Santa Rosa before I will let them put them in the dump! I will drive over there if I have to. Collect the recycle stuff and put what you can’t recycle in the landfill? !!!! Why even bother to collect it?
