Unfortunately his bond was only 1000 but neither the cop nor a judge made the decision. Bonds are already predetermined based on the crime. This crime is a 3rd degree Felony. To bad he didn’t have some drugs or a gun on him.

@ just curious, How would this criminal know if the LEO was committing a crime or not? He certainly didn’t have radar to try to catch him speeding. The negative opinions of people where the real law enforcement is concerned amazes me. Let something happen though and who do they call. I think “just curious” is holding his sign too.

Thank god this moron was stopped by an off duty officer. We have the same problems here in Michigan, As do almost all other states. I am extremely disappointed in the judge the placed such a low bond I’m such a serious offense. I am more disappointed in the “just curious” comment of was the officer breaking the law. If in fact he was call the police! Normal people don’t outfit their cars with flashing lights. Normal people don’t randomly pull others over unlawfully. Thank goodness this psycho was locked up. Rest assured your local police department I am sure is keeping a watchful eye on him!

What’s even more scary is the judgement of our judges, this is one of those cases where he should have been detained up to his court date. God only knows what he has probably done. I wonder how much time passed between his arrest and release, and if Northescambia.com has this information could they please share it.
