To all of you who want to judge the driver of the vehicle. If you weren’t there you have know idea what or how this happened. They’re called accidents for a reason. That could very easily be you or someone you love. I don’t believe any of us our perfect or have the right to pass judgement on others. Those qualities are reserved for the man upstairs.

The story says the driver lost control of the vehicle. When a driver loses control of a vehicle, they are not operating ithe vehicle properly. Driving requires full vehicle control to properly drive. If you have a mixer running and get your finger in the mixing blades and the finger breaks, yes it was an accident. And, putting fingers in the moving mixer is improper operation. I don’t see any comments in this thread that aren’t based on logical observation.

Why do people feel the need to comment negatively on “the drivers” or their actions? Were you there to know if they were speeding? Or if they weren’t properly operating their vehicle? Accidents happen every day and this could have happened to anyone…

Why don’t driver’s take responsibility of monitoring their own driving. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department can’t afford to put a deputy in a private vehicle and tell the driver how to operate their vehicle.
