What’s lacking is the “wood-shed” education you would get for dishonoring (honor…yeah, I know, that no longer exists) your family and your community.
Pain is the greatest motivator in the world. Kinder/gentler does have it’s place but there are still occasions for a good ole proper butt-kicking.

Uh excuse me but at 19 years of age you a no longer a child, he should get the max penalty for robbery using a firearm. Don’t we have 10, 20, or Life sentences for such crimes?

That’s not a man, that’s a child with a distorted sense of reality. 20k from a convenience store tells me he has no idea about the world outside of television and video games. I would guess we have poor parenting to blame here. He’ll get a large dose of real life very soon.

Someday, after he has had time to ponder his actions, he should thank the relatives who intervened…I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decision to make – but, he’s young enough to turn his life around….obviously, his rationale and thinking are not at a mature level for an average 18-19 year old….hopefully, a full mental evaluation will be entered into evidence prior to sentencing.

Wow that’s a new 1 ,I’m sure even for the cops. The smugness in the picture says it all. When are kids going to learn that going to jail is not a badge of honor but something to be avoided?
