I have been a regular shopper at the Saturday open air market since it began. Melvin was my friend. We became and remained friends for a few minutes a week most every week. We would chat & he would ask after my well being and my family nearly every week. We’d exchange sincerely felt words of caring, respect and affection. I miss him now and I always will remember him fondly. Hilda, I am deeply sad for your loss at Melvin’s passing. I hope I may still see you back at the market in the future. – Mike

My condolences to the Hiebert family. They have always been very cordial/friendly as I purchase vegetables and chat with the Hiebert’s at the market.
