Any updates on this case? He was recently back in santa Rosa county jail(appeal I presume). He also had a
second case involving a second victim( nothing regarding that in any news I could find).

Patti….many times children automatically believe they will be blamed just for knowing about things sexual in nature. They are ashamed as well…but so many kids are just confused and feel they won’t be believed…even kids who have good parents who tell them to report anything right away. Kids have this way of self preservation….to block it out because in truth, they are not emotionally equipped to deal with it. That is why it is very important to teach even small children about how their private place should not be touched by anyone and to come to the parent if anyone does anything to make them uncomfortable. It also helps for a parent to train the child when they are very young to not be afraid to tell the truth…which is something else little kids just automatically are afraid of…it is sad but true..

To the family of the child. ..counseling is important to begin as soon as possible.

Hoping for a healthy resolve for that child and family.

What took her so long to tell anyone about what was going on! Was she afraid or just ashamed. A child SHOULD be able to tell his or her parent ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! If nor a parent, then someone close.

bwayne; you are incorrect in your discussion of parole. In Fl., under current sentencing guidelines, there is no such thing as parole. A prisoner has to serve 80% of whatever sentence is handed out. In any case, this pond scum will die in prison.

In many cases, the length of the prison term determines the date when the prisoner will come up for parole. The prisoner usually has to serve some fraction of the total sentence before his or her first parole hearing. So, a “life sentence” leaves the possibility open for parole….but multiple life sentences diminishes that.

Senseless, I guess SOME people are never satisfied. Some crimes don’t allow a life sentence to be a possibility. Do some research before spouting off. 330 years is not even enough if you ask me!

@ Senseless – Often, these huge numbers of years are the result of sentences for multiple counts or multiple crimes added togethermas they run consecutively. The great thing about this is that if he gets out of one charge on some minor technicality, he still has the other sentences in effect and doesn’t walk out the door. Not quite so ridiculous then.

330 Years……REDICULOUS!! I guess it could have been life. What does that mean? If he is reincarnated, he goes directly back to jail as many times as it takes to complete his sentence?
