I’m very glad that the baby is home. I was looking this up for a drivers ed class and I saw this. My God!!!! I can’t imagine what those parents must be going through. That lady never needs to step foot out of that jail. I would say she should get the death sentence but she didn’t kill the baby. Maybe now you won’t drink and drive, idiot.

Thank God this child’s life was not taken by PURE STUPIDITY. @Puddin I agree 100%Something has to be done. I live two blocks over on 6th Ave.I have talked with a couple of Atmore Police officers they know the problem, the problem they have is no info on the car or driver get all the info you can make, model, 2door, 4. Door, color, if people in the car are male or female, dents on the car, anything that might identify the car or the driver, IF NO ONE CALLS; then no one know, and next time GOD FORBID they will not be lucky as this Angel was.SLOW DOWN PEOPLE. CHILDRENS LIVES MATTER……. I don’t care what color

Her Drivers License wasn’t suspended for good behavior. On top of that, she drives drunk and I jures a child, thankfully not killing her. THAT is her reprieve, that she’s not charged with vehicular homicide. Revoke her license permanently and let her spend about 10 years behind bars pondering her stupidity.

If you are going to drink away from your home, PLAN for your trip home! If you are not responsible enough to plan for a taxi, a pickup by another driver, or a motel room; THEN DO NOT DRINK.

When parents plan a night out, they arrange for childcare=responsible.
When people plan a drinking night out, PLEASE plan for your ride home or a room!!

Praying for the little girl as well as the drunk driver. Thank God the little girl is ok and for the drunk driver to have enough sense not to ever do this again with all of the awareness of people lives be taken due to drunk drivers.

Late last night I talked with the older sister. (my neighbors). The little girl is ok. Nothing broken, possible concossion according to her.

She said sis was at the curb and the driver came over and hit her.

All the kids in the neighborhood play in the street here. Its very common to see half a dozen little ones riding bikes, playing ball, etc. in front of the houses. As a matter of fact, my grandkids step mom and I were just discussing how dangerous it is yesterday afternoon. We were thinking about asking to have speed bumps put in because people go up and down this two block long strip like its the Indy race track!

Im so glad the little girl will be ok. Prayers for all involved. The driver will have to live with what she did for the rest of her life. Maybe this will be her Rock Bottom and she will get clean and sober.

To say she doesn’t need to see the light of day again after making a mistake his harsh…Unless of course she has been making the same mistake over and over again.
