They are not the same in all states so if you are in that state you take it off. Columbus day, Christmas eve, kwanzaa day, new years eve, ash wednesday, Washington's birthday. I suppose they probably get it paid also. Hey let's give them Arbor Day also, where does it end!! I can understand if one is Jewish, and want to observe their holy day, that's ok by me, but if your not Jewish what business do you have taking that day off.
