		<description>Circumstances of each case must be considered. A teenage prankster is one thing, &amp; on the other hand you have your real beginning career criminals that need to go to prison with the adults. I&#039;m talking about violent, dangerous individuals that hurt people, with histories of gang activity, serious drug trafficking, rape, etc.

There is a difference between young thugs that knock over convenience stores with guns &amp; a little punk kid that goes joyriding in a stolen car, &amp; it&#039;s up to judges &amp; juries to make that cut. It is sad that there is a culture these days that says being in a gang, with all it&#039;s violent initiation rites &amp; criminal activity, is considered some sort of passage into manhood.

I&#039;d tell kids that taking an evil path &amp; living dishonestly, &amp; laying up in jail is not the way. A real man does what&#039;s right, handles his business honestly.</description>

Because if you officially forget, you can pretend it never happened.

I believe actual crimes should never be forgotten or hidden from the people because I believe people are smart enough to be trusted with the truth to make good judgements concerning age and maturity.
Others disagree.
I don&#039;t trust people who don&#039;t trust others with the truth.
