I believe there is paperwork parent signs as well. The tech administers med to child. If the child goes on field trip inhalers /epi pens go with staff, the RN ( not tech) comes to our classroom and gives teachers inservice on how to administer these devices. If we go on 2 trips, we get a second visit. I feel pretty good about our clinic staff. I see children in the clinic all the time why would they not be allowed to go? Remember, yours isnt the only kiddo on the bus. If you are ten minutes late getting your little ine, and the next parent is late, and so on, then the bus is late for everyone after. Are they going to be allowed to go to the clinic this year when sick. Maybe they can use their own cell phones. My phone has always worked when I'm needed to volunteer for something maybe it can work for the clinic.
