		<description>No easy answer here.....all of them trying to win elections  based on  the voters within the districts  (27) &amp; representing about 750,000 people in each district.  So if you divided the state into (27) equal units based on sq. miles it wouldn&#039;t fit the 750,000 people that is needed to have a congressman/woman.  Remember that ea. state gets electoral college votes ( presidential election ) based on the number of congressmen (27) for Florida based on our states population ...plus our two senators for a total of (29)electoral votes .       Obama won Florida the last two elections....he won primarily in the big population areas especially near universities and our larger southern cities. And remember the old saying that &quot; the further south you go ( in Florida ) the further north you are&quot;  meaning the huge southern Florida  population of northerners that moved south &amp; brought their voting tendencies with them.</description>
