well you have to have a picture I D or DL to get a D L this will stop illegals from getting a DL but they will drive anyway then when they get caught they will say they were profiled just saw on ch3 people are failing the test at an alarming rate so they are changing the test judging from the way some people in escambia co drive i wish i had a tank to drive

Since 9/11, licencing requires when you renew your Driver’s license (and could be for new license)you must show Birth Certificate, if previously married – wedding license or divorce decree for each marriage. Just went thru all of this a few years back (I am originally from out of state and getting these documents was a hassle)

So why is it that if I already have a driver’s license, with a picture ID, issued by the state of Florida, that I have to provide a birth certificate, marriage license, divorce papers, etc.?

The Tax Collector’s Office has improved so much with your guidance and the good persons who work directly with us the citizens of Escambia County.

I hope that you do follow through and open the office to being able to process the Florida Concealed Weapons License applications.
I wish that there could be changes to shift the FCW license processing from the Dept of Agriculture ( 90 days wait ) to your office and that the processing could be same day as it is in Alabama.

In order to get a birth certificate, to get a drivers license, you must provide VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICATION. Acceptable forms of identification include: DRIVERS LICENSE……..

SO…..a DRIVERS LICENSE IS acceptable identification to get a birth certificate in order to get a DRIVERS LICENSE, BUT NOT ACCEPTABLE to get a DRIVERS LICENSE.

This is so ridiculous. Why is it that to get a state DL or ID, one has to go to another department within the state, pay a tax (called a fee), and get a document that the state already has on file in order to get a another document that in most cases has already been on file for decades. If Tallahassee would get a little bit more organized than this nonsense wouldn’t be necessary. But then it again, for the bureaucrats, who gives a d@^^*. Their attitude is “screw you, it’s not our problem”.
