If you wish to justify your actions as God’s leading, please consider many are certain they are being led by the Holy Spirit, but the bible says to try the spirits to see if they are of God, because sometimes they aren’t.
If you were one of His sheep, that would be a goal of yours — but you say you are not a sheep.
If a spirit urges you to break His word, please consider its possible origin.

If you have to break a law to save the life of another, that is one thing.
If you feel like breaking a law because it inconveniences you, that is something else.

Funny, since it’s not so safe and not a good idea, i wonder why the manufacturer put brake lights, headlights, and blinkers on my 4 wheeler ? I guess so people in the woods know which way i’m going to turn.
Besides, a neighbor has a gator with no top, no blinkers, yet it’s street legal to drive without even requiring a drivers license because it’s considered farm equipment. I guess i should get one so when you folks call the law, i can wave when he let’s me go.
I wasn’t speaking of just riding up and down the road either as these teens were probably doing. I only ride on the road to get where i’m going. I also pull off the road and stop when a vehicle is approaching. I noticed nobody said anything in regards to purchasing a trailer and some land to ride it on. Hey, maybe ATV dealers can sell them as package deals. I wonder how people who don’t own a bunch of land or a trailer even ride their 4 wheeler? And David, i have my own laws. So what you are saying is that people should be encouraged to drive in ways which endanger themselves and those trying to avoid killing them?

If I decide I want to go elephant hunting, I shouldn’t have to go where the elephant is or get my own elephant or not shoot my elephant when people are in the line of fire?

You weren’t talking elephants but the expressed disinterest in law or safety of others is pretty much the same. Please reconsider.

@chris in Molino Yeah…….. Driving an ATV on a road with traffic has never been a good idea, friend. I grew up around Canoe Creek and even out there its not a good idea. Kathy has the right of it.

I know the area pretty well and have ridden my 4 wheeler there as a young teenager. The problem is all of the yankees and yuppies moving “to the country” in these cookie cutter neighborhoods then want to tell me what i can and can’t do. I’ve already taught my children they should not live in the Molino area when they start families if they want to raise them how they themselves came up. Impossible and sad.

I hope this is a wake up call for a lot of people. There are countless times these type of ATV’s are in my neighborhood. No one seems to care only to have fun but know they are not street legal. If the ECSO is called by the time they come to investigate they are out of site.

I’m not saying to not drive your ATV but do it where it is safe and legal and not on the streets.
