What a beautiful spirit Moses was. I know my son loved him dearly as a Friend and mourns him quietly. He always spoke of him so fondly and how he made him laugh. I will miss that smile! My heart breaks for the this young man’s family and all his friends, it is the missing that hurts, As We know he is finally at home and in peace with the heavenly Father, a young beautiful Angel to never grow old. Much heartfelt love to all that knew him and got to know him for the short time he was here. Jesus lives and so does Moses!

It has been almost 5 years since I lost my son in a tragic “accident”

I will never understand how or why it happened and I will always wish he was still with us. I miss him every day and I cry everyday when I wake up and reality hits me and I am reminded of his absence here on earth, but I know he is in heaven with our Lord and Savior and that I will be reunited with my son when my time is up and I am called home to be with the Lord.

May the Holy Spirit and God’s word, comfort Moses’s family during their darkest days. Losing a child is devastating. my thoughts and prayers go out to Moses’s family.

To “Ed” I do know this. It was no one’s fault. it was an accident and it was his time to go home to be with the Lord. see the scripture below.. no mother or father wants to read any negative posts on this site after losing their child. it wasn’t because he was 19, or didn’t see the stop sign or because he wasn’t being careful, etc. Most importantly, only God can judge people so who are you to go drive through this intersection and make these negative comments? do you have any idea how much this would hurt the parents of this child if they were to see your comment?

First let me say my heart goes out to everyone involved in this horrible accident. I can’t imagine and hope to never find out the horror both families are feeling right now, and I pray for all of you. I drove up to the scene of this just a short time after it happened, the wreckage was unimaginable and has been haunting me. I spoke with people who witnessed it and know there was no attempt for the person driving through the stop sign to even slow down. I drive munson hwy and hwy 4 every day and if I hadn’t worked late that day I could have easily been sitting at that stop sign when it happened. I come from the direction he was heading. Yesterday I went straight through the stop signed, turned around, and came back just to see how easy it would be to miss the stop sign and run through that intersection. It was the scene of another fatal accident just a couple of months ago. I don’t understand how this could happen at this intersection. It would be impossible not to know you were coming up to a stop sign if you were awake, not even texting, could you not be aware. There is a stop sign ahead sign ahead, a construction sign, 4 different LARGE speed bump strips well before the stop sign, the cross road is very visible and and so is the stop sign from a long way before the stop. This accident should have never happened, I know speed was involved, but did something go wrong with his car? or just carelessness! PLEASE YOUNG PEOPLE, pay attention when you drive! THINK what your doing, as bad as this was it could have been worse! What if the other car wasn’t a single man that now is suffering horribly along with his family. It could have been
a family mourning the loss of their children or children left parent-less. The only thing worse than a horrible tragedy is a horrible tragedy that was completely avoidable!

Moses was such a loved young man. His father Raymondville and Mother Geraldine were members at Bellview Baptist for a long time and are still well loved and missed. All of their children are such loving Christens. Yes Moses, what a beautiful name to have in Heaven. Praying for your broken hearts loosing him, for I know you are such a close family loving each other. Know we are praying g over you all, as well as the other driver, and his family. It is always hard to be a survivor of such a wreck. Yet, we know Moses was ready to be with Jesus. And his family WILL see him again. Amen

Moses was a shining light in my class for 3 years as was his brother Elijah! He had such a sweet spirit and genuine love for people! This spring he came to see me and gave me a big hug…a hug I will always treasure! Seeing the love radiated by his family and knowing how they love The Lord, we can look forward to the day we all celebrate at the feet of Jesus! May God wrap His arms around the family and many friends who loved him so!

On the 8th of July, Wednesday, I met Moses Sturges. Myself and three others had the pleasure of working with him, sharing our lunch and fellowshiping with him all day that day. The spirit of the Lord permeated from him. Though he was only 19, you knew he walked with the Lord. No doubt he is with Jesus right now. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I will see my brother in Christ again, and continue our fellowship. I pray the peace of God that passes all understanding keep the hearts and minds of his family during this time of separation.

My heart goes out to the Sturges family. My family and I are still mourning my brothers death after he was killed in a car accident 3 years ago. I am so sad whenever I ever see that another family has to go through this. It is the worse loss because you can never make sense of it. A lot of times goes by that you feel that it may not even be real. If you know this family, so by their house and show them love, don’t just send a card or say oh they’re probably with their family. Every person that comes by and tells you a story about that person or gives you a hug helps you pick yourself up a little more each day. Flowers, cards, or call me if you need me messages are not what’s needed. Go to them, hug them, say a prayer with them, tell them a story about their son/brother! My brothers friends madeall thedifference in the worldfour mymom and i. Stacy thank you for sharing a message about Moses.

Yesterday, Wednesday the eighth was the day I met Moses Sturges. It was a great pleasure of mine to be one of four others to work with him, share a meal and fellowship with him all day. The sweet spirit of the Lord, permeated from him. It can be said of him, though he was only 19 years of age, that he walked with the Lord!
