One on one, maybe, but the number willing and able to kill with a hijacked jetliner is far lower than the number willing and able to drive a car impaired.

Thus, the fatalities mostly come from DUIs, self-created stupids.

Glad no one got hurt in this situation, what is sad about this a DUI stays on your driving record for 75 years so if this guy ever plans on getting a good job somewhere that would require a back ground check he is screwed.

Just wish people would think about this before they start drinking and driving.

I knew the driver either was drunk or had a case of road rage when he made the turn onto 29, almost hit the vehicle in the turn lane on 29 and then over corrected right into the path of the Deputy’s SUV. Thankfully, the years of driving have given me the wisdom to watch for the idiots on the road…sometimes they can’t be avoided but most of the time they can. I managed to stop in the intersection before I hit that idiot. Unfortunately, for the Deputy, this was one of those times it couldn’t be avoided. There was nothing the Deputy could do not to hit him. Deputy Dewees, if you need my testimony to help with a conviction, just let me know. There is nothing more dangerous than a drunk driver, no matter what time of day it is.
