@ Tab....
I'm guessing that the privacy of military member records is a non-issue as the computerized files have been many times hacked and our information stolen.

The ability to exempt from public records after Sept. 11, 2001, would add military members to the already existing group of firefighters, elected officials, law enforcement, and several other groups of persons whose employment may put them at risk should that information be public. This would also cover the children of military members from having their personal and residence information easily available. Complicated stuff trying to protect the privacy of individuals in an open society.

"All-American Flag Act.”
It is a sad day in America when we have to have a law that requires our flags be made in this country.

Re: HB 715. It appears that special interests and the wealthy have found a way to stick the taxpayers with their insurance costs while building structures seaward of the coastal construction control line. This bill only encourages more careless construction and forces Citizens to pick-up the tab when disaster strikes. We live in a very coastal state and those who chose to build on the shores should be willing to fully pay for their interests. Shame on the legislature and Governor Scott for requiring Citizens to cover this reckless and careless behavior. It just goes to show the legislature could care less about the majority.
